Cookies 'N Cream Fudge

Hello. My name is Aimee and I love fudge. I thought I would interrupt this zucchini bake-a-thon with a creamy, delicious fudge recipe. As you know (well, if you visit me often here you know this), I like to try new fudge recipes (like Cookies and Cream Pretzel Fudge and Orange Creamsicle Fudge Bites and Peanut Butter Pretzel Fudge).

I know, most people make fudge for Christmas. After all, it's about 200 degrees outside, fudge? really? Here's the thing. You don't need an oven. You store them in the fridge (or freezer!). And you get a perfect sweet treat bite without the hassle of baking. You're with me here, right?

Anyways, I had bought some Oreos on a whim the other day, and instead of letting the kids devour them in 3.5 seconds I decided to do something else with them. Enjoy!

Delicious! I love fudge too and Oreos. I am seriously going to need to make some of this. Great idea to make it in the summer. I really hate turning on my oven when it is hot! :)

What kind of white chocolate chips do you use. Mine never melt good for me. I am wondering if melting them with other things helps. i am usually melting them by themselves and they always get clumpy. I have hersy white chips on hand would that work?

Thanks for the drool everyone!
Anonymous, I use Ghirardelli white chocolate morsels. They melt wonderful!

You are killing me, this looks fabulous! I love fudge... but it is the F word in my house until December! I might have to make an exception because it is OREO fudge after all!

I made this - followed implicitly - but it didn't come out. it never firmed up, even when I kept it in the fridge overnight.

Anonymous, I'm so sorry to hear that! I've made this recipe several times with no problems. I have no idea what might have gone awry, but do hope you give another recipe a chance! I know how frustrating it can be to have a recipe fail!
