Oreo Peanut Butter Dip

Oreo Peanut Butter dip: a delicious spread for apples, crackers or a spoon!

I needed this today. Well, my hips did not need this, but my head so wanted chocolate. And peanut butter. This is amazing. We ate it with graham crackers and apple slices. To. Die. For. You could also use animal cookies, Oreos (why not???), or just a spoon.

And now, I must go lick the spoon. I mean wash the dishes. I totally meant wash the dishes!

I made this last week and it is just as incredible as it looks. I only changed one thing… I have a deep aversion to white “chocolate”, so I threw in a handful of mini chocolate chips instead. My friends and I have discovered we like it as a pretzel dip. Just try to stop yourself from eating it. I also think it would be good as an ice cream topping, but I haven’t tried that yet. Thank you so much, and I am in love with your blog!

  50. Thanks Jennifer! I love it with pretzels too. I’ve made it a couple times already, it’s so good!

  51. C

    Genius! I love this idea!

  52. This recipe is definitely DA BOMB! Pinning!!!

  53. yummy – thanks for sharing! if it’s helpful to note – i filled three 1/2 pint jars and had a few tablespoons leftover.

  54. wow! this peanut butter looks incredible. what an innovative combination of all the best flavors. 🙂

I made this tonight using all natural peanut butter which has to be refrigerated after opening and yet the Nutella is not supposed to be refrigerated. Do you suggest I refrigerate it because the pb to nutella ratio is 3:1? I don’t want it to go bad although I don’t think it will last long. And since I am not a white chocolate fan,I substiute chocolate mini morsels from Nestle’s.

  56. I personally wouldn’t refrigerate this, as it would get stiff. But I don’t know enough about why natural peanut butter needs to be refrigerated. Your call on this one!

  57. wow, this looks divine. my hips would hate me too! thanks for sharing!

  58. Kendra

this looks so good! im making something for my friends birthday, and just to fancy it up a litle do you think i cmaybe ice a cake with this? or maybe combine it with your cookies n’ cream cookies? (she is a total chocolate lover). and i was wondering, do you by chance have a fool-proof way to crush the oreos?

  59. Kendra- I don’t think I would frost a cake with this, but it would be great between layers. I crush my oreos in a ziploc bag with a rolling pin (just pound them a few times).

I would like to add in cream cheese to make it even creamier. What do you think? Should i make it into a cheese ball-like recipe?Do you have a suggestion as to how much cream cheese to try?

  61. Oh my gosh, you are like the master of decadent dessert dips. Have you thought about using this to make ice cream or cookies?

  62. WOW. This leaves me speechless. I want this NOW!

  63. Jolene

Any suggestions on what to replace the Nutella with? Yes, I’m probably the only person in the world that thinks Nutella is the grossest thing ever…
    So, any suggestions?

  64. Jacki

Any ideas as far as substitutes for the Nutella? Ssimply asking because I can’t eat it because of sever allergies to tree nuts.

  65. bahaahahaha, I love that I thought I was being so smart with my biscoff oreo spread but you had done a pb version two years ago!! I bow to you, my lady!

  66. Countrygirl

Just made this tonight for my boy. Peanut butter, chocolate, and Oreos, a total winning combination for him. He loves it! It is really yummy. Serving it with mini Nilla Wafers. Thanks for the recipe.

  67. Joni

I’m thinking… Omit the Oreos and add chopped peanuts and more Nutela!

  68. Oh my gosh… They look so easy, so yummy, and SO perfect for my chocolate lovin’ friends!! I just pinned these on my girls night in board 🙂 Thanks for an awesome recipe!

  77. This recipe is delicious! I am a college student and made it for a meeting with friends, and it was gone in less than 15 minutes! I did add some more Nutella and then used Nutter Butters to dip in it. Super yummy. I posted my adaptation and pictures of how it came out on my website findingthepeaceinside.wordpress.com if you’d like to check it out! Thank you for the recipe!
