Individual French Bread Pizzas made with Chicken Breasts. Fajitas on a pizza are a perfect match!
I could seriously eat Mexican food every night of the week. Fajitas are delicious and easy any way you serve them.
Dinner in our house has to be fast. With four active kids we are always on the go!
If I’m not using my slow cooker to make my dinner, then I like to find as many shortcuts as possible. With these chicken breast already seasoned, I was inspired to do something equally delicious and easy!
With less than 15 minutes of prep time and 15 minutes of cook time these can be on your dinner table tonight!
How to Make French Bread Pizza
I began by slicing the chicken breasts into strips. If you can’t find southwest seasoned chicken breasts, just add your own seasoning to the skillet instead!
While the chicken cooked up in my skillet, I sliced up some red, orange, yellow and green peppers, as well as some red onion! Mom always said to eat the rainbow!
Once your chicken has cooked completely, add in the vegetables, tomato sauce and a little bit of taco seasoning! I let this simmer another 5 minutes. I like having a little crunch to my veggies, but if you want them to really soften, feel free to saute longer!
To make the french bread pizzas, you could use one large loaf of french bread, slice horizontally.
I happen to love individual servings. They are so fun, and portion control helps me stay healthy too!
I used some french bread rolls and sliced them in half.
To save on calories (and fit more filling in each pizza), I hollowed out the bread. Saving the bread in a ziploc in my freezer is perfect for the next time I need to make stuffing. Or, process them in your food processor until fine crumbs and you have fresh bread crumbs to top your favorite macaroni and cheese!
Add some cheese to your pizzas and broil in your oven for 2 minutes! ENJOY!

Individual French Bread Pizzas made with Tyson Southwest Pepper Chicken Breasts. Fajitas on a pizza are a perfect match!
- 3 Tyson Individually Frozen Southwest Pepper Chicken Breasts, thawed
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1 red pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow pepper, sliced
- 1 orange pepper, sliced
- 2/3 cup tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 loaf french bread or 5 french bread rolls
- 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Slice chicken breasts and saute in oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, turning once. Add vegetables, tomato sauce and taco seasoning. Turn heat down to medium and simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Slice french bread rolls in half making 10 individual pizzas. Hollow out bread if desired. Lay bread on a foil lined baking sheet. Scoop fajita mixture onto each roll. Top with several tablespoons of shredded cheese. Place pizzas on top rack of oven about 2 inches from heat. Broil for 2 minutes.
- Remove and enjoy!
**if desired, skip the pizza and lay in tortillas for traditional fajitas.
**If you can't find the flavored chicken breast, just use unseasoned, boneless, skinless chicken. Add in 1-2 Tbsp of southwest seasoning to your skillet with the chicken.
