  • Ham should be cooked and diced first. You can cook it yourself or use store bought.
  • Cheeses – We use both parmesan and cheddar cheese in this quiche recipe.
  • Eggs and heavy cream come together to form the custard-like center of the quiche.
  • Refrigerated pie crust is used in this recipe for convenience. If you prefer, feel free to use a homemade pie crust instead!
  • We like adding broccoli to our quiches for some color and nutrients, but it’s completely optional in this recipe. You could also add spinach! Stock up on extra broccoli so you can make our slow cooker broccoli cheese soup to serve alongside this quiche!

Recipe FAQs

Can you freeze quiche?

Yes, quiche is a very freezer friendly dish. Make sure you use an oven to freezer safe pie plate. Metal or disposable pie plates are best. Bake and cool the quiche, then double wrap it tightly with plastic wrap and foil or a freezer bag.

What’s the best way to reheat frozen quiche?

Reheat your frozen quiche in the oven at 350 degrees until warmed through (about 25 minutes). You may need to cover the crust with foil or use a pie shield to prevent it from overbrowning.

Can I make quiche with milk instead of heavy cream?

Heavy cream is our preference for perfect egg custard texture. However, you can substitute whole milk or half-and-half if needed.

What can I serve with Ham and Cheese Quiche?

This Ham and Cheese Quiche pairs beautifully with light sides. Serve it with fresh fruit or a Cucumber Tomato Salad for a satisfying brunch, breakfast or lunch.
