Between snow days and game days, I’m always on the hunt for an easy dinner recipe. A meal that my kids will love!

And by meals I mean, the “pre-meal” kind of dinner. You know, when they come home for an hour before heading out the door again and need a “snack.” But more than an apple, less than a slab of steak.

These Pepperoni Pizza Hand Pies are the perfect lunch, snack, or dinner idea for your family. Not only are they baked (instead of fried) but they assemble very quickly. I’ve even got a little video below to show just how easy they are to make.

I make these ahead of time and then my kids just pop them into the microwave when they are hungry. EASY.

Now, how do I go about finding some “me time” in all this craziness?

How to make Pepperoni Pizza Hand Pies

With just four ingredients, you are minutes away from hot, flaky hand pies!

Start by preheating your oven to 435 degrees F. Using refrigerated pie crust, allow it to come to room temperature before unrolling. This takes about 10 minutes.

Once unrolled, use a 4-inch biscuit cutter to cut 6 circles from each pie crust. You might have to re-roll the scraps (and you may even be able to get 7 circles).

Place about 3 pepperoni and a big pinch of mozzarella cheese in the center of each circle. Fold the sides over and pinch the edges closed. Press the edges with the tines of a fork to seal them.

Bake the pizza hand pies on a parchment paper lined baking sheet for about 13-15 minutes, until lightly browned.

Serve immediately with some warmed up pizza sauce. ENJOY.
