Peppermint Bark Recipe

The BEST Peppermint Bark recipe is made with good quality chocolate, and dipped to perfection. You'll love this Christmas treat for yourself or to give as a gift!

Ingredients

  • 10 oz Ghirardelli white chocolate melting wafers
  • 6 peppermint candy canes, crushed
  • 5 oz Ghirardelli dark chocolate melting wafers

Instructions

  1. In a microwave safe glass bowl, melt white chocolate wafers for 90 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  2. Fold in crushed peppermint candy canes.
  3. Using a 1 Tbsp metal scoop, drop scoops of bark into a 24 cavity silicone brownie pan. Allow to set, about 15 minutes.
  4. Melt the dark chocolate in a glass bowl for about 60 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  5. Once the white chocolate peppermint candy has hardened, remove from silicone pan (they just pop right out).
  6. Dip one corner of each candy in the melted chocolate and place on a piece of parchment paper to set. 
  7. Store in airtight container for up to two weeks.

Notes

  • Instead of putting in silicone brownie pan, spread in a thin layer on a piece of parchment paper.
