Sugared Cranberries make the prettiest topping for all your holiday desserts! Sweet with a juicy burst of tart flavor, these cranberries taste as good as they look.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups fresh cranberries
  • ½ Cup water
  • 1 ½ Cups granulated sugar, divided
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

    1. Add the water and ½ cup of the granulated sugar to a pot on low heat. Cook for a few minutes, just until the sugar has melted. Remove from the heat and stir in the cranberries. Let sit in the warm sugar water for several minutes.
    2. Using a slotted spoon, remove the cranberries and place them on a wire rack, set over a pan, for a few minutes to cool.
    3. Add the remaining cup of sugar to a large dish and toss the cranberries in the sugar until well coated.
    4. Let cranberries dry for at least an hour on a wire rack. Store in refrigerator until ready to use.
