The only thing better than a chocolate chip cookie, is an Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie! This 3 ingredient recipe is so easy and delicious and ready in 15 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 oz) refrigerated ready to bake chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 12 Double Stuf Oreos
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, optional
  • 3 Tablespoon sprinkles, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Break the cookies into the 24 pieces. Take on piece and gently flatter with your fingers. Place an Oreo on top and then top it with a second piece of cookie dough. Pinch the edges to seal the Oreo inside.
  3. Place on cookie sheet at least 3 inches apart. Top with additional chocolate chips and sprinkles, if desired.
  4. Bake for 9-11 minutes, being careful not to OVER bake these cookies. Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.

Notes

  • CUPCAKE TIN: You can also make these in a muffin pan (cupcake tin). Just be sure to watch the baking time! It will be about 15 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
  • CHOCOLATE: Most premade cookie doughs don't have enough chocolate chips. Press a few extra chocolate chips on top before baking!
  • SUBSTITUTIONS: Skip the sprinkles and press a few M&M's on the top instead. Or swap out the chocolate chip cookie dough for peanut butter cookie dough. Use Golden Oreos instead.
  • Can't find the ready to bake cookie dough? Buy a 16 oz roll of refrigerated cookie dough instead, and cut into 24 even pieces.
  • STORAGE: Store cooled cookies in airtight container for up to 3 days. Or freeze in airtight container for up to 3 months.
