Avocado Dressing Recipe

This avocado dressing recipe is a quick and tasty way to amp up your salads in two simple steps. It will add body, flavor, and a vibrant splash of color to your next healthy salad or snack. Or use it as a dip for your veggie tray!

Ingredients

  • 1 large avocado, ripened
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 6 ounce plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ teaspoon tabasco sauce
  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • handful cilantro, snipped
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup water, to thin the dressing if desired

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, add avocado, lemon juice and greek yogurt. Process for about 3 minutes until smooth.
  2. Add in remaining ingredients and process an additional 3 minutes. Serve with salad or use as a dip for fresh vegetables.
