Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Spray two 9x5-inch loaf pans with baking spray, or grease and flour. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, add apple pie filling first. Mash apples with a fork, or cut into small pieces.
Add flour, cake mix, cinnamon, and eggs. Mix just until combined.
Pour batter into prepared loaf pans. Sprinkle tops genererously with cinnamon/sugar blend.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Remove from pans and cool on wire rack.
Store in airtight container for freshness. Serve warm with ice cream.
Notes
Grease and flour the loaf pans. Occasionally I’ll even put parchment paper in the bottom just to be safe.
Do NOT over mix the batter. Mix just until everything is combined.
Slice with serrated bread knife for best results.
Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream or
homemade whipped cream
If your bread cracks on top, it’s okay! That’s nothing to worry about.
