I entered the Green & Black’s Contest through Rafflecopter, but couldn’t find exactly where to leave a blog comment. I hope that this is the right place!

In answer to the question of which bar I would want in my package, it would have to be a Hazelnut Currant bar.

I thoroughly enjoy your site and am following all of your boards on Pinterest!

Wondering what I am missing? Or is it just those 3 ingredients you list in the product intro.. peanut butter, mini chocolate chips and min pb cups? Thanks for the help and the great great recipes!!

Where is the recipe for the copy cat kit kat bars???

debi April 8, 2013 at 3:18 am

I’m a huge fan of traditional biscotti. I have a few recipes, my fav uses almond paste in the dough as well as whole almonds and anise extract and anise seed. I seem to have trouble with the first slicing process—I don’t get a clean slice. Any suggestions?

aimee @ shugarysweets April 8, 2013 at 7:10 am

Do you slice immediately or wait until it’s cooled slightly. Some of my recipes call for waiting 15 minutes before slicing, then returning back to the oven. Some of my recipes I slice immediately.

For the past week when I access your site my computer freezes. I use Firefox and have this issue with no other website. Has something on your site changed recently? I am forced to close down computer and restart each time I go to your site. This is so strange, but I have verified that it is a problem directly related to Shugary Sweets. Has anyone else mentioned this or is it just the devil trying to keep me away from your wonderful recipes? Thanks

aimee @ shugarysweets October 18, 2013 at 8:06 am

It’s a dried chipped beef. Like a dried lunchmeat.

I finally found the Lemon Oreos at the grocery store and just made your Lemon Crunch Cookies. They taste GREAT! But they came out very thin. Any suggestions to help them stay a little thicker??

aimee @ shugarysweets February 2, 2014 at 9:09 pm

You could refrigerate the dough for an hour. Also, using parchment paper helps too!

stacey Jones May 28, 2014 at 7:20 pm

I am making the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Dip, I think I am missing an ingredient. In the instructions part it states to whisk sugar, but there is no sugar listed as the ingredients, only powdered and brown which are completed in another area.
How much sugar am I suppose to use.

Lori July 4, 2014 at 1:31 pm

I would love to make your Copycat Kit Kat Bites but cannot find your recipe for it. All there is is advertisements. Augh! I have searched your website. Help please.

sewbusy August 16, 2014 at 1:07 pm

i make a similar appetizer using one block of cream cheese, one small can chopped black olives, one small can chopped green chilis- mix all together. spread on 8-10 small tortillas, roll up and slice into 1 inch rounds. top with a bit of salsa when ready to serve – I now call it Mexican sushi :)

have fun
