One of my favorite go-to meals during the day is a protein packed smoothie. Yes, I said protein. As in protein powder. Don’t be afraid though. With all the delicious flavors I put in this smoothie you won’t even notice the extra protein boost!
With regular exercise comes hunger. I hate cooking for myself during the day. My kids are all in school, there are no lunches to prepare, so I want quick and easy! Smoothies are on my meal plan. And, when you add in that extra protein, you’re body will be completely nourished and you will feel full. Plus your muscles will recover from that great workout. (did I lose you at workout???)
I added in all the delicious flavors of a traditional banana split (bananas, pineapple, strawberry, chocolate) and topped it with whipped cream too. You could take it a step further and add some chopped nuts on top, but they don’t go through the straw to well. (recipe for smoothie is below giveaway details)
