Easy Creamy Dip

There are times in your life when it’s totally acceptable to eat peanut butter from the jar.

I also found out recently that some people dip Oreos in peanut butter. I’ve always been a fan of dipping Hershey bars in peanut butter.

Well friends, I’m giving you the best of everything.

Oreo Peanut Butter Dip.

Only 4 ingredients for this decadent, delicious, chocolate peanut butter treat.

What you choose to dip in THIS spread is completely up to you. My family loves strawberries, pretzels, and crackers…but a spoon is perfectly acceptable too!

Serve this as an appetizer or a dessert!

Only 4 Ingredients

This recipe has 4 ingredients. Super easy, right?

  • Peanut Butter. Whether you choose creamy or crunchy peanut butter is your choice, both turn out amazing. I only suggest you not choose a natural version that has too much oils (or if you do, make sure you REALLY stir it up good).
  • Nutella. You could stop right there and I’d be in heaven. This chocolate hazelnut spread is the perfect complement to the nutty peanut butter.
  • White Chocolate. For today’s delicious recipe, you’ll melt the white chocolate with the peanut butter and nutella. Don’t like white chocolate? Milk chocolate works great too!
  • Oreos. You can’t have an Oreo Peanut Butter Dip without them. Crush them up with a rolling pin in a ziploc bag. So many flavor options here too. Choose any style Oreo cookie you love!

Easy Instructions

  1. To make the dip, add the peanut butter, Nutella, and white chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl. Heat for one minute.
  2. Stir and heat for additional 15 second intervals until everything is melted and smooth (stir after each interval).
  3. Fold in the crushed Oreos and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
  4. For best results, allow dip to come to room temperature before serving.

What to serve with Oreo Dip

So many things make great dippers.

Sweet: Graham crackers, More oreo cookies, Shortbread Cookies, Nilla wafers, Strawberries, Apple slices, and/or Teddy Grahams.

Salty: Pretzels, Crackers, Pretzel crisps, Pringles. Or make a batch of homemade cinnamon tortilla chips!

How long does Oreo Dip last?

Keep in a sealed jar in the refrigerator and this Oreo Dip can last up to a week.

I haven’t tried to freeze this dip, but if you do, let me know.

  1. Does this stay spreadable for long? I want to make it for a work function so it may sit on a table for a few hours. Thank you!

  2. This recipe is delicious! I am a college student and made it for a meeting with friends, and it was gone in less than 15 minutes! I did add some more Nutella and then used Nutter Butters to dip in it. Super yummy. I posted my adaptation and pictures of how it came out on my website findingthepeaceinside.wordpress.com if you’d like to check it out! Thank you for the recipe!

  3. I have just made this and am having with some apple slices, it is absolutely divine! Thank you for the recipe.

  5. Just made this tonight for my boy. Peanut butter, chocolate, and Oreos, a total winning combination for him. He loves it! It is really yummy. Serving it with mini Nilla Wafers. Thanks for the recipe.

  6. bahaahahaha, I love that I thought I was being so smart with my biscoff oreo spread but you had done a pb version two years ago!! I bow to you, my lady!

  7. Any ideas as far as substitutes for the Nutella? Ssimply asking because I can’t eat it because of sever allergies to tree nuts.

  8. Any suggestions on what to replace the Nutella with? Yes, I’m probably the only person in the world that thinks Nutella is the grossest thing ever…
    So, any suggestions?

  9. Oh my gosh, you are like the master of decadent dessert dips. Have you thought about using this to make ice cream or cookies?

  10. I would like to add in cream cheese to make it even creamier. What do you think? Should i make it into a cheese ball-like recipe?Do you have a suggestion as to how much cream cheese to try?

  11. Kendra- I don’t think I would frost a cake with this, but it would be great between layers. I crush my oreos in a ziploc bag with a rolling pin (just pound them a few times).

  12. this looks so good! im making something for my friends birthday, and just to fancy it up a litle do you think i cmaybe ice a cake with this? or maybe combine it with your cookies n’ cream cookies? (she is a total chocolate lover). and i was wondering, do you by chance have a fool-proof way to crush the oreos?

  13. I personally wouldn’t refrigerate this, as it would get stiff. But I don’t know enough about why natural peanut butter needs to be refrigerated. Your call on this one!
